Custom field in registration form

I want to add a custom field with type Multiple dropdown for the user to select during registration. The field in the back end is fine, but it displays different in the front end, is there any way to make the field to display as the same with the backend field?

Hello,

Really sorry for this return, but we aren't sure to understand your point, you want to have a dropdown that look like the "select box" ?
Or you just want to have background color, typo, etc...

In other words, are we only talking about aesthetics or ergonomics?
If it's an only aesthetics, then custom css added to your frontend file can do the trick (learn here how to process).

For ergonomics. It is about the display pattern. I have used the multiple dropdown custom field. What I expect from the front end view for the custom field is as same for the backend view. The back end display of the custom field is what I want, and what I want to ask is if it is possible to make the display in the front end the same as the back end.

Hi,

In the backend, it's Joomla's chosen library dynamically changing the look of the custom field.
To do the same on the frontend, you can try activating the "use Chosen library" setting in the HikaShop configuration.

Hello,

Follow me step by step :
- Go to Components => HikaShop => Configuration
- Then Display tab, and in General Display options part
- Active the "Use Chosen library", see my screenshot :

Hi,

That's a text from Joomla:
JGLOBAL_TYPE_OR_SELECT_SOME_OPTIONS="Type or select some options"
You can use a translation override to change it:
