Hi,

I don't know what is the "hover effect of amazon".
But I think it will require some CSS styling (and maybe JS).

Actually, I'm interested in this as well. It isn't far from Opencart's approach to the cart display.

Ajax would be the preferred method. Seems like this would be a good extension for HikaShop.

Hi,

There is already such possibility.
Basically, what you want is to use a joomla module which can display another module (for example the HikaShop cart module) on hover.
I don't remember the name of the extension I saw which was doing it but I already saw it used on several websites for the HikaShop cart module.
Something near from that is this extension for example:

I guess that it will require to ask the Joomla community on forum.joomla.org or to dig in the joomla extensions directory...
