tooltip for characteristics with images

Hi Hikashop,

We have a feature request for your tutorial for display by color.
We did this implementation: www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...isplay-by-color.html

But now it's hard to see the name of the characteristics. So you have to click on the images first to see the name the characteristics. But when there are a lot of colours its a lot of clicking ;-). So it would be nice if we can get a sort of tooltip like the way it's implemented in the gallery image over here: hikashop.com/forum/content-creation/8802...le-the-filename.html

Is this possible to put a sort of code in the view? For the name, but also the stock?

Hi,

Why not simply add the name of the color after the img tag in the values of your characteristics ? That way, you don't even need to hover on the images to get the tooltip.
And you can always use such extension extensions.joomla.org/extension/tooltips to add tooltip tags around the img tags of your characteristics if you want tooltips on them.

For the stock, it's more complex as it will require customization of the characteristic display area. It would require a developer to work on that for you.
