Custom fields multiple limitations

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.1

I would like to have several limitations features for the custom item fields:

1/ not limit to only one parent_field but to several (with AND and OR selections) as well as several values (OR)
2/ ability to limit the item field to a product custom field value; i find it more convenient than using the categories
3/ have a AND and OR choice when limiting to categories

Finally a translation feature (at least for the item fields) such as in the product would be nice as well

Thank you for your feedback.
Regarding the translation, you can already translate custom fields. There is a "translatable" setting for some types of custom fields, you can translate their labels with Falang, and you can translate the values of custom fields like checkboxes and dropdowns with translation keys. So it should already cover all the needs on that end.

Thanks Nicolas for the translation capabilities; that is good.
Could you give me some details how it is done technically (what functions and where), because I developped my own custom field and I would like to "reuse" these functionalities for my field?

Hello,

If you want an example of custom field provided by a plugin ; you can take a look at the "hikashop / datepickerfield" which is the "advanced date picker".
And in HikaMarket you can also find the plugin "hikashop / market_vendorselectfield"

Hello,

Yes, you can have translatable features with product & category custom field, in your custom field configuration you will find "Translatable" (via Falang) option.



Later, when you will edit your product or your category in Main Options part you will find "Translations" options that allow you to edit description AND if everything is well configurated your Wysiwyg custom field.
