Zones are not being installed

Hi guys,

first of all, thanks for the new release, looking forward to trying out all the awesome new features.

Already have a first bit of feedback: it appears that when starting with a clean install of Hikashop 3 none of the zones are loaded and the table _hikashop_zone is completely empty.

When updating from Hikashop 2 to 3 all the zones are there, but I tried freshly installing Hikashop 3 twice (with and without the European VAT) and then there are no zones, countries, etc..

Hi,

I guess there is a misconfiguration in the packaging script and the new folder "sql" is not in the zip.
I'll look into it and I'll update the package as soon as possible.

Hi,

The package is up-to-date.
You can edit the file "administrator/components/com_hikashop/helper/update.php" and remove the line

"/\w*((\%27)|(\'))((\%6F)|o|(\%4F))((\%72)|r|(\%52))/ix",
That check is a little bit "too much" and it refuses zone queries.
Once you have removed the line, you can call again
/administrator/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=update&task=install
to force the update/install of the zones.

Hi,

thanks for the quick reply, hmm the fix seems to install a few zones now, but still not all.
I tried again several times, even removing all the other regexs checks, but only Montenegro, Serbia, and some 60 states get installed, nothing more. Do you get the same result?

Edit: had a quick look at the zones.sql file and can see all the zones are divided in about 10 separate insert queries, and so it appears to only insert the last query (Montenegro, Serbia and 60 states) but doesn't insert any of the ones before that.

Please re-download the alpha package ; I have upload a new version with a fix and also some improvements to get the new "dashboard" module for the Joomla 3 backend cpanel.
