-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.nevadasoap.com/index.php/our-store/category/13-our-soaps
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Safari 7.1
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : none.

There used to be 2 pages of products and now it refuses to show more than the first 8 products...

Recently upgraded to Hikashop 2.3.3 from 2.1.3 but the problem was there under 2.1.3 - recently upgraded the site from Joomla 3.2.3 to 3.3.6 however...

I have searched under the Menu's Hikashop Options and it shows 20 items and under the module associated with that Category for the products and it shows 20 items as well and Recently Viewed is set to No.

I am baffled as to why I can do random but that it is stopping at the first X products and not showing all of the products :(

HELP!

Thanks, Emmanuel.

Hi,

It has nothing to do with the update:
www.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/68068-pa...random-products.html
If you turn on the random option of a products listing, then each time you would display a page of the pagination it would display random products. So you might see some products from the first page on the second and you might not see others at all unless you refresh the pages several times.
The goal of the random option is to display a random chunk of the products each time the page is displayed. So there is no point in having a pagination.
If you don't want that, just turn off that random option and you'll see the pagination.

I think we are not understanding each other 100%...

But this lead me to figure it - sort of...

For future reference for others, make sure you check the Brand option for each product - for this customer I setup a brand for Our Soaps and one for Our Dishes and 4 of the products did not have a Brand associated to it [the client has taken over managing the products and inventory and he wasn't paying enough attention to that specificity.

Cheers and Thanks Nicolas as always,

:)

Emmanuel.
