No coupon generated for HikaShop Serial

I have a unique issue. Last year we got HikaSerial setup and integrated with Hikashop so that when a product was purchased. a HikaSerial serial code was generated and a corresponding HikaShop coupon was created with the HikaSerial serial code. The HikaShop coupon with the HikaSerial serial code could be used with the purchase of a product.

Now it is NOT creating a HikaShop coupon even though a HikaSerial serial code is generated.

The only caveat between the tests is that we are using a coupon ON the 1st purchase which generates the HikaSerial serial code. So is it possible that you cannot use a coupon code on a product that generates a HikaSerial serial code because it will not create a HikaShop coupon record?

I found the issue. On one pack, I had the coupon generator but on another I had the random generator. My bad!
