Cron not autotriggering

Hi,

So I am trying to figure out why my cron is not auto triggering? I am using the auto setup one by you guys. It works fine when I manually go to the webpage and trigger it but it is not auto triggering on its own. It says it will trigger next on such and such a date but never does (even 24 hours later). Something isn't working.

I read your help document on it. The cron works fine when I manual trigger and it has no errors in the report.

Ideas?

Hi,

Could you check the different points at the end of the documentation:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...cron-task.html#check

If you don't find the problem, could you give your cron URL so that we can see the problem ?

Sure I have PMed you the cron url. I tried looking at the end of that post yesterday and unfortunately no cron was run today :( like it was suppopsed to. My other crons from things like AcyMail work fine.

On our end, it says that your website is properly being triggered every 15 minutes.
Did you activate the email reports in order to receive an email each time the cron is triggered ?

If the cron task of AcyMailing is working, there is no reason the one from HikaShop wouldn't as we use the same code for that process.

Yes, and I just got an email. However, it seems the cron is only triggering when you go and visit the page. It did not trigger before like it was suppposed automatically so something is not working. I can confirm this as my google products are not getting updated.

Could you do some screenshots ? One from your cron tab and a second one when you click on the create/edit cron task button and then click on save.

Here is what I get in terms of messages:

JFTP::login: Unable to login
JFTP: :write: Unable to use passive mode

Waitlist notifies checked

Can you log into my site and see what is going on? Now neither my Acymail cron or my HikaShop cron are triggering automatically. Something is broken and I can't figure out what. Everything was fine before upgrading.

I sent you a PM with log-in details.

I've increased the timeout settings for your cron and checked and it seems to be working now.

Unfortuantley, you did not fix it.

That is the last cron that ran. This is the one that you trigged by going to the url. It is still not triggering the cron job for hika and now it is also not triggering the acymail cron either automatically. I really need this fixed.

Ok so I took a look at it may be due to Cloudflare blocking it on my servers. I just tried disabling it and will see what happens. This was a suggestion from Acymail support.

Well the way I fixed this was by simply disabling Cloudflare completely. My site now seems to run better and has no more security errors. I will probably look into their services again once they are more stable and have some more advanced rules for filtering.

But their support and the AcyMail support did confirm that it was cloudflare that was causing the issue and that some sort of rules need to be put in place so that it does not block the component and also the IPs of your cron server need to be whitelisted. I just did not want to bother with it as Cloudflare had other issues and it was just easier to disable it completely for now.

Thank you for your feedback. We'll update our cron task documentation on that.

Hi,

You may want to append your documentation about crons with an additional thing.

www.acyba.com/en/forum/5-how-to/29519-se...es-cpanel.html#30002

Many hosts are requiring the useragent part to be added to the cron so this thread has a good description. I just tried it with your cron and it worked where the others did not. I made my cron look like it was being triggered from the browser.
