As we all know GA4 is out and most of the agencies use it allready.
As I understand Hikashop Google Analytics Plugin is not supporting GA4. What options do we have?

Hello,
I need to set up a double collect of data (e-commerce) on Google Analytics : Universal + GA4

I use your plugin "Hikashop Google Analytics Plugin" to collect Google Analytics Universal data.
Which solutions can I have to also collect Google Analytics 4 ?

I tried your "Hikashop Google Analytics 4 Plugin", but doesn't work for e-commerce.

Any tips ?

Hi,

What do you mean by "doesn't work for e-commerce" ?
The GA4 plugin we provide does send ecommerce data to GA so I'm confused.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Actually, I collect user data, but not e-commerce data. Maybe I set - up wrong (I only added the measurement ID in your plugin), but I don't have any e-commerce data.
Do I need to set-up trough Google Tag Manager ? If yes, do you have any informations about the dataLayer names ?
Thanks a lot for your help

Hi,

The plugin implements this:
developers.google.com/analytics/devguide...rce?client_type=gtag
Among the events listed there, this plugin implements view_item_list view_item view_cart begin_checkout and purchase

As explained in step 3 here developers.google.com/analytics/devguide...ga4/set-up-ecommerce you want to enable the debug option of the plugin and then look at the debugView in your GA account. There, you'll see the events arriving (there is some delay).

Note that as stated in step 4, the purchase event takes 24h to transfer to your reports/explorations and GA Data API. So if you're looking here and you didn't wait 24h, that could explain why you don't see anything.
