Need One Order Created Email and One Entry In Purchase History

Hi there,

Please help me sort this out and let me know what is the best way to do this.

1) I always getting 2 copies of the "A new order has been created on your website" emails. One is showing the status as "Created" and the other as "Confirmed".

I don't see the need to get both emails so I would like to only get the "Confirmed" email because that means that the customer paid - is this correct?

2) Also, it creates two entries in "Purchase History", I don't need it to create the "Created" entry, can it only add an entry when the order is "Confirmed"? This will make it less confusing as there will be only one entry for each order instead of two.

Hello,

1. You have just to unpublished the unwanted email, have a look on this documentation to learn more about emails and his purpose, here .
2. First in order to be sure to speak about the same thing, do you mean this with "purchase history" ?



If yes, this will required some custom code in order to don't display this line about the created status, in the order backend view.
Note : Have a look on this tutorial to learn how to create an override view.
