-- url of the page with the problem -- : ngaanyatjarraku.wa.gov.au
-- HikaShop version -- : 4.5.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.10.9
-- PHP version -- : 7.4.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 100.0.2

We have been advised that In order to comply with the latest PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), we need to hand credit card payments off to a bank hosted payment page rather than using the currently implemented HikaShop credit card payment plugin. Could someone please provide instructions on how to achieve this so that the HikaShop still completes and records the sales. A confirmation of payment will be sent to the shop administrator by the bank's payment page, but of course HikaShop still needs to send the order to the administrator and a confirmation to the customer. Can that be achieved with the paid version of HikaShop?

Your help would be much appreciated!
Jimmy

Hi,

It can be achieved with any version of HikaShop.
Basically, instead of using the credit card payment plugin, you need to use another payment plugin where the customer is redirected to the payment gateway of the payment gateway of your choosing.
So the question really is which payment gateway you want to use ? And then, you contract with the one you selected and configure the corresponding payment plugin for HikaShop.

Eway is apparently used a lot in Australia:

www.hikashop.com/marketplace/product/115...apid-by-obsidev.html

Otherwise, you have the classic PayPal plugin which comes preinstalled with HikaShop.

Then, you also have WorldPay:

Or Square:

Or 2checkout:

Thank you for the prompt reply, Nicolas. We use Westpac Bank and their payment system is called PayWay Net. It gives me the option to implement a "A PayWay hosted web page" (their preferred option), or a "A PayWay iframe embedded into your payment page". I found the "westpacapi" plugin in the Payment methods of HikaShop, but Westpac told me that would not satisfy the PCI DSS compliance. I can not find a plugin which would forward the payment to this external site while maintaining the normal HikaShop functionality.
Any suggestions, Nicolas?

Hi,

There are two plugins for Westpac for HikaShop.
First, you have the Westpac API plugin which indeed won't satisfy that need.
But you also have Westpac NET which normally does:

Hi Nicolas,
I installed the Westpac NET plugin. That was the easy part - the setup on the Westpac page was much more painful! But I have finally got it working.
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards,
Jimmy
