Hi,
in the last week the PayPal payment option that offered a button for 'Debit/credit cards' only and offered a clean form that only took card information has disappeared. It has been replace by the old paypal page which tries to get people to login and/or sign up to PayPal as well as paying by cards.
It has confused a lot of our customers who don't want to sign up/in and cancel their transaction.
I don't know if anyone else has seen this but we haven't changed anything to do with that plugin to cause the change in behavior. We put in a support request as our test site is displaying the same issue.

p.s. There was also an empty pop-up as part of the workflow which needed to be close to proceed.

Hi,

1. You need to provide your merchant ID in the settings of the PayPal Checkout payment plugin:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/4...form.html#additional
With the merchant ID provided, the plugin will automatically check the situation of your PayPal account and display information about it on the options page once saved once.
It will probably tell you that you hit some kind of limit with your PayPal merchant account, and you need to do something with PayPal like provide legal documents so that your PayPal account can continue receiving credit card payments with the form.
www.paypal.com/in/brc/article/activate-your-business-account
The steps can be different from one country to another in order to comply with local rules. The information the plugin will display in the settings should help understand what needs to be done on your end.

2. The white popup is because you've activated the "System - HTTP Headers" plugin in the Joomla plugins manager, but you didn't set the "Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy" setting to "sam-origin-allow-popups", which results in the PayPal popup being blocked.
This is also mentioned in the PayPal Checkout payment plugin documentation page, so I recommend reviewing it once:

Thanks for looking. It's greatly appreciated. We've entered the ID and it's working for the main site. We were told by PayPal a while ago that our Merchant name was enough to trigger the correct form and that has worked until now. I think we originally had trouble using the one ID across multiple site even though the two shops are part of the one business and link in the PayPal business admin.
We'll keep an eye on it and let you know if there are issues after double checking with the PayPal backend.
Great Support as always!
