I have several products that have variation (size) and each variation has a different price. When I go to a category for the product listing from the hope page options, the price of one variant is shown (default variant) before you click on the option to "Choose options". When I go to the product listing of a category using the top menu drop down options, the price does not show up.

I do not want the price of one variation to show up before they choose options. It reads as "each" when that is not the price of each. Because it shows up two different ways depending on how you get to the listing, I'm not sure where to find the fix. Using Firebug I see I can change the font size for that line to 0 but it's on "thirdparty.css" which cannot be found.

I'm guessing I'm just missing a setting somewhere and making this more complicated than it needs to be.

Hello,

"the price does not show up"

=> You mean that the price isn't updated when you select different variants ? Or there no price in any case ?
Different issue, but for both case, that's not normal, can you proàvide an Url link to the page with issue and Variants page
configuration screenshots (for each variants and the main product page).

"It reads as "each" when that is not the price of each"

=> You can edit your HikaShop language file in order to change translation or replace it, see this documentation .

"I do not want the price of one variation to show up before they choose options"

=> You can switch the price displaying in your required item menu, see this documentation to learn more about Item Menu configuration.

"the font size for that line to 0 but it's on "thirdparty.css" which cannot be found."

=> Thirdparty.css is maybe your template (not sure to under, but it's not a related HikaShop forum question.

Hope this will help you.
Regards

Thanks for the response Philip, and I apologize for not really knowing how to ask the question.

Your link to the documentation for price displaying in the menu items was the key. I knew you could turn off Display price in the Product data display section of the menu items, I just couldn't find where. I turned off Display price in every menu item I could find that I though related. None of them worked. The one that worked was not on a menu item that made sense.

I created a Category Listing menu item titled Products. When I click on one of those categories the items in that category show the price. This menu item is where I needed to set Display price to NO in order to hide the price before they choose an option.

Solved. Thanks.
