Prompt Customer To Select Size

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.0

If the customer does not select a size and just click on add to cart the default size is added to the cart. If they are not paying attention they could purchase the wrong size.

Is there a way to prompt customers to select a size, if more than one size is available? This could prevent purchasing errors.

Hello,

It will actually depends on how you configured your product and if you are using characteristics or custom fields.
The solution will probably be to directly edit the code of the "show_default" file of the "product" view of your front-end template via "Hikashop->Display->Views".

While it's not difficult to do as a customization in a special case for a developer, make it work properly in all the cases is a bit harder and needs to be done carefully, with a lot of testing.

Nicolas, not sure if you see this post but would you be so kind, if possible, implementing this?
I would like if the customer clicks on "Submit" before selecting a size (variant) that they cannot proceed to the cart without making a selection.
