-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.4
-- PHP version -- : 7.1.0

Hi! I have a suggestion to improve HikaShop. Can you add the All item in the next version to indicate all the discounts to which the badge is applied (please look at the screenshot)? I will give an example for what it can be useful. For example, I have a badge Sale. Within a year I create different discounts with different validity. If I can specify a badge for the All discounts, then the badge will be applied for all current and future discounts and will automatically be displayed on the products for which a discount is applied.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

Even if the idea behind is interesting and I see what you mean ; it would be more interesting to use the category for such kind of filtering.
Since you can use discount to be applied on categories ; you can have create categories for your different discounts and use the parent category (named for example "discounts") to apply your badge on all.

The fact that you can place a badge for a discount was mostly to have an image related to the kind of discount ("-5%" for your example).

Wow! I see that this is a deeper and more correct way of using the store's features, but this option can not be implemented in the Starter version. Thank you anyway!

I imagined such a structure of the store and I had a question - how can you manage the term of the discount with this structure? After all, with this structure, to give a discount, you need to assign a category to the product, for example, 5% discount category. In this case, even if the discount can specify the validity period, then after the end of this period the products will not disappear from the category itself, so the visitor will see the badge SALE, but there will be no discounts for the products. Probably, I do not know something, but it looks like such a structure is inconvenient for managing discounts. Although it is convenient to assign the SALE icon for different discounts, but if they are pre-defined and tied to a specific category.

In the end, this is not the idea that I meant. I spoke only about one badge SALE, which will always be for any product that has any discount regardless of the size of the discount, and the date it was created. And that it works always after a one-time setup.

Hi,

Well, if you have one badge for configured for each discount, you could simply just set the same end date in the discount AND in the badge.
But if you have different discounts for only one bafge, then yes, you would have to remove the category from the products after the end of the discounts. That can potentially be done in one operation with the mass actions system:
