-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome, Firefox,Explorer
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Error: 404 - No category found

Hi,

After update 4.1.0 products disappeared.
Is there an idea how to fix it ?

The only place I see a problem is if I access the shop menu item at the top of your website:
monosnap.com/file/2t0ZOjnq4VOxphda8S7EF1JdcVEYkA
So I suppose you're talking about that. I'm not sure why you would have that problem. It looks like an issue with how that menu item is setup. Could you provide a screenshot of the settings of that menu item ? Could you try deleting it and recreating it ?

Yes many time I tried deleted it and recreating it. The problem came with the update, no changes have been made.

Everything is related to the products, except take contact button. Take contact button does not open a contact form.

Hi,

Can you check that this category "Finn Thunder Oy/ takarengas.com" is published via the Products>Categories menu of HikaShop ?

Also, since the release of the 4.1.0, we've added some hot fix so that you can still have menu items on categories that are unpublished. So I would recommend to download the HikaShop install package available in the menu My account>My susbcriptions on our website and install it on yours to get the hot fix. That should hopefully help.

I check that category is published.
I Download the latest stable version (4.1.0). Now it's a little different but not working. Can you test.
I can't find the fault.

Hello,

I process some tests on your website and I can see that you have many javascript error, this can come from many different things...
From other plugins that create a conflicts with HikaShop Javascript, what you can do is this :
- Try with a default template like ProtoStar
- Try with unpublished other plugins one by one to see if that solve your issue.

The point here, is to understand the nature of the conflict, and not to say that it's not our subject, and from the root issue we will be able to provide a solution.

Can I send password to E-mail and you check problem ? ( test website password)
We have test website and problem is there too. We updated first test website, but we do not noticed problem and now problem is both websites. Should have been tested more closely.
I also sent this question to your email.

I would be very happy if the problem was eliminated.

To me, this looks like a problem with the "tuotteet" menu item.
I'm not sure how that menu item is configured though.
You could try deleting it and recreating a menu item of the type HikaShop category/products listing configured to display your categories/products.
If that doesn't help, then yes, we would need a backend access in order to check your settings.

Hi,
Thank you, now error went away, but everything is messed up and looks strange ( When click main menu Tuotteet/ Kauppa = Product/ Shop ).
Categories and products are at sixes and sevens (product, category, product, category etc). When you browse the pages you will notice that ( breadcrumb 1- 14 ).
Lower front page you can see all products and they are allright.

How to get the products off and would only see categories when click main menu Tuotteet/ Kauppa = Product/ Shop. No at sixes and sevens.
Or
See all the products when click main menu Tuotteet/ Kauppa = Product/ Shop. That was the way before the update.
Or
Something sensible.

Hi,

I don't see why the update would change that.
This just means that you have the "sub element filter" setting under the "Products options" tab of your menu item set to "all sub elements" instead of "direct sub elements".
Change that and it should display like you want.
Or, you could also change the type of the menu item to a products listing instead of a categories listing. In that case, you would leave the "sub element filter" setting to "all sub elements" in order to get all the products.

Why settings was changed, very strange.

Your first instruction : It's better, but looks bad. much empty. It cannot be repaired, I thing so ? This is now enabled.
Your latter instruction: It is as before, difficult to find products, but looks good.
