I am puzzled as I noticed you have the menu opening up sub categories when you click or hover on a main category:

I am not sure how I can achieve that on my test site. Can you please elaborate?

Thank you

Hello,

By default you have already a pre-configured module :
- In Extensions dropdown => Modules
- Look for "Categories on 2 levels"
- Quite sure that the pre-configuration is already good to stick to the module reference in our Demowebsite but you can check it, thanks to this screenshot :

For the display the most simple is to use the template that we use for our demo website, JSN Glass Pro, or to analyze his css on our demo website, and reproduce it (see this documentation to learn how to add custom css command).

Hope this will help you to achived what you need.
Regards

Thank you for your answer. I am not sure if I have not expressed myself properly.

I do have the display of the categories on 2 levels already however what I would like to achieve

- something like a NESTED MENU that when you click on the top category the subcategory is displayed

I can not change the template at this point either.

thank you.

Hello,

From this, 2 solutions remains :
- Create an override view category/listing_list (see this documentation to see how to proceed)

=> In your view, it seems that you will need add some javascript in order to add dynamically class.
With a class main_category_open and main_category_close, and each of this class having his own command css in order
to display each sub categroy as required.
OR
- You use an compatible HikaShop plugin that will allow you to create quickly an accordion display.
=> Like this one from ExtStore.

Hope this will help you to get what you need.
Regards
