Product Filters

Hello. I'm having issues reactivating the filter section check boxes with brands or pricing. Just doesn't show anything.

Second, how are those variables added in the displayed filter section in the screenshot?

Third, I can't get filters such as color or size to show up in the product page after I pick the variables as a drop down. Is this a paid option?

So I can't have a side bar that filters Brands, Categories and Price without paying?
