No shipping methods

Hello Hikashop,

I'm upgrading my webshop to Joomla 2.5 and trying to migrate from Virtuemart to Hikashop at the same time.

The first problem I ran into is that during the checkout process I don't see the Shipping method and shipping adress. This is a more common issue in the forum. However I did all checks and was not succesfull in resolving the issue.

-Created shipping method 'test' with no restrictions;
-all products (imported from virtuemart) have weight in kg as is used in the manual shipping.

Maybe you can have a look. If I need to mail you credentials please let me know!

Hello Nicolas,

Please see the screenshots. The first one is of a test setting with the only selection being the Dutch country and the other should be the basic parcel within the Netherlands. I have many more configured, but they all have the same issue. The first one I created to test without any parameters set an have a test.

That shipping method will only display if you have entered your address in the Netherlands during the checkout. Is that the case ?

Also, make sure that the manual shipping method is published.

If all that is correct but that it's still not working, please do a screenshot of your checkout page.

Yes, the address I used is in The Netherlands. I'm building everything for delivery in Belgium and The Netherlands only.

I have also published the manual shipping method.

I attached two screenshots of the checkout page as it is rather large. Still some work to be done in design and layout.....

I only see the billing address edition and not the shipping address edition interface.

That means that the system detected that your products didn't need any shipping.

This usually happens because the products in the cart don't have a weight and that the option "force shipping regardless of weight" is turned off in the configuration.

If you turn it on, that should solve the problem.

The weight is defenitely filled in. Please see screenshot of an example.

Even after forcing shipping it says that no shipping is availlable.

How can we resolve this?

Yes, I had forgotten to include the credentials, but I remembered the next morning and have left them in a second entry form on your contact page. You should have them? If I need to enter them again please let me know?
