Matomo plugin

Matomo is an alternative to Google Analytics. It has a big emphasis on data protection and user privacy. Unlike Google Analytics, you can run your own Matomo analytics server (it's open source and free to use) so no data of your users is sent to another entity.
This plugin will track user activities on all the pages of your Joomla website, and will also track HikaShop categories, HikaShop products, the carts and the purchases so that you can follow the user interactions with your online shop.

Google Analytics 4 plugin

We already have a Google Analytics plugin included in HikaShop Business.
However, Google recently announced that the APIs which this plugin is based on will be phased out next year in order to use their latest API, Google Analytics 4.
This plugin is the answer to this annoucement. It integrates with Google Analytics 4 and brings your website similar tracking capabilities as the Matomo plugin:
User activities on all the pages of your Joomla website and tracking of HikaShop categories, HikaShop products, the carts and the purchases so that you can follow the user interactions with your online shop.
