States not showing for hika registration

Hi,

States seem to be working fine except that Registration page only shows the required asterick * and no state selection.

Also is there a way to force a selection as I have had problems with them not selecting a state and just submitting with the first in the list.

I would like them to see:
Select A State
Alabama and so on.

However, if they dont click the state then goes to error or something.

hi,

I checked all that was listed in the thread and did not see any issues. I never changed any display sections either.

I also checked the zones per one of the comments and all my states are already there.

United States is already default and not France.

Hi,

Please edit your address_country field via the menu Display>Custom fields and SAVE your default value. Then it should work.

Sorry but I am confused because I already did edit it. It is defaulted to USA. Can you please explain exactly what I need to do?

Hi,

Even if it display "USA" as default, you have to re-save it in order to be sure that the right value is stored in the database.
If the default value (stored in the database) is not published, the list won't display it so another value will be displayed, but won't be the "default" or the "real selected" value.

But more than that, which version number of HikaShop are you using ?
There was a bug in a previous HikaShop version, fixed in the latest build.

This is now seeming to be fixed through updating from previous version to newest version of business. It appears there was a bug.
