Hi,

What you can do is use the "separator" view in "vertical" mode to have the login/address views on the left and a "text" view on the right side. Then, in the text view, you can use a Modules anywhere tag to add an instance of the cart module:
www.regularlabs.com/extensions/modulesanywhere
And configure the cart to display the elements you want. You might need a bit of CSS too to hide some of the areas there, but the options of the module will already help a lot.
