How to get the "contact us for more.." feedback?

Hi:
Click "contact us for more informaiton"button,input some words to test this function.then submit
It display send success,
but I cann't receive the feedback in my email box or anywhere. is it to use email to receive the customer requirement?
if yes,how to fix it?my site's system register and contact forum work well.

Hello Jacky,
1. You should probably publish the "A contact request has been made" email through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Emails".
2. If you don't get an email, check your spam box. If you don't have it, check that you can send emails with Joomla (from the mass mail component for example). If you don't receive the emails, it's likely that the email configuration of the joomla configuration page is not correct. You should ask your hosting company about what you should put there.
If your customers receive them and not the administrator, it's likely that the email configuration of the hikashop configuration page is not correct. You should ask your hosting company about what you should put there. Usually, it comes from either the charset encoding, or the "add names" option.

Hi Thelji
1.already publish the "A contact request has been made"
2.test to send mail to one user using Community Builder component,user can receive mail,it works.
3.can not receive any mail for customer and administrator,including spam box.

Give you my site's login password ,could you help check it ?thank you very much.

Hi,

If none of the HikaShop emails are sent, it means that there is something to be changed with the Emails options of the HikaShop configuration so that your email server doesn't reject them.
It could be a lot of things: The format encoding, the add names option, the multiple part option, etc.
It depends on the configuration of the email server.

One thing you can do is to change the options one by one until it works. Otherwise, you can ask your hosting company what should be the settings as Mohamed proposed. They should be able to tell you.

Hi,

My problem is: when I use the show Vendor option and the contact vendor button the form shows nice in a popup. But when i fill in the fields and I click on OK. The fields get empty and nothing happens. So it looks like the form doesnt work. I also dont recieve mails.

It is as if the OK button works as a Cancel button. Any ideas what I can change?

Jerome helped me before with a similar problem I had with the VAT. That works fine now.

I turned the Contact vendor on now. So you can see how it looks like. Hope you can help me.

Can you please update your HikaShop & HikaMarket ?
I see that you are using HikaMarket 1.4.1 and we improved some things in HikaMarket 1.4.2 for the vendor contact page.
So, using the latest HikaMarket version should help you with your problem.

Hi,

I check HikaMarket 1.4.1 - 1.4.3 and I guess I got the problem you have.
HikaShop does not allow the "contact" if the option "product_contact" is not set in HikaShop.
So it's not possible to have the "contact vendor" if HikaShop does not allow the "contact on product page".
I will see to fix it in HikaShop so it will be possible to just have the "contact the vendor" and not the "contact" in the product page.
