Hello,

is it possible to show the related products in a carousel?
An not simply picture near picture. (see screenshot)

If it is not possible, can I insert a carousel with all the products of its categorie above the product chosen?

Thanks

Now better delete the admin login info. It might be hidden for guests here, but not for logged-in forum members. ;)

Hi,

I removed the credentials in that thread and we also removed the credentials in the other threads.
You should be more careful with that ; the forum is public and you should not put such critical information available.
If we need access to your backend, we will asked for it and at this moment you could use the "contact us" form in order to send them privately ; but for the moment that's not required.

Otherwise, thanks lousyfool.
You can also mentioned the "product listing with effects" page in our demo website :

Hi,

HikaShop comes with a carousel on board. And a module "Related products" is pre-configured. So, all you need to do is

assign related products to the products where you want ( www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i....html#specifications ),
-> I have 4 related products which are displayed below the product. OK
make sure the "Related products" module is set as module under product pages in the HikaShop configuration ( www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...ig.html#main_product ),
-> Associated products listing for category listing menu 144- Module is enabled. OK
then in the module settings activate and configure the carousel mode ( www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i...odules-form.html#div ) and publish the module.
-> Enable carousel mode. OK

But the related prodcuts are still shown as normal product labels and not in carousel mode.

Thanks

Hi again,

Hmm, you have 4 products as "related"... how many columns do you have set for the module, and how many products are set per carousel slide? If it's 4 everywhere, then there won't be a carousel because all 4 product fit in one set = no reason to move... that should be clear...
If that's the case, try with both number of columns and products per slide set to 2, just to test if it works, and eventually play with the other settings and values for the carousel (see links to documentation and demo site above for reference).

If still no go:
Can you please post a screenshot of your "should work" module settings - best all, and definitely the div/carousel configuration?
And a link to the page with the product with 4 related products and the module below as configured?

Hi,

Sorry, the module displayed below the product is not the one as in your first screenshot. What is displayed in the frontend has nothing to do with what's configured in whatever you took the screenshot of.

In the HikaShop backend please go to -> Display (Anzeige) -> Content modules (Shop-Module) and edit the module with the ID 104. This is the one under your product pages, and most likely the pre-configured one for "Related products" (as per my first post here), also titled the same (as per frontend display). Indeed, it is configured right for related products but wrong for the carousel. Just turn on and configure the carousel, and eventually column and product numbers. It's safe to say that this will work then.

The module you took the screenshot of is, according to its title, associated with a menu item with ID 144. You can find this menu item either in the HikaShop backend under -> Display -> Content menus, or in the Joomla Menu Manager, unless it has been deleted or so.
Nothing 'personal' or so, but as suggested previously per links, it's highly recommended for you to study the documentation and visit the demo site (front and backend) to make yourself familiar with the system.

It is working but I have an issue to show the tilte (name of the product) -> see printscreen and I will have a link to the product's description.

Hi,

It's probably the setting "Type of item layout" of your module which is wrong. It's not on your screenshot so maybe it's something else. But normally, it should be set to "image and title". And looking at your carousel, it would seem that you set it to "image".
