Problem with showing products on "home"

Hi,

I'm getting a silly problem with getting products on the homepage. I asign a "product listing" to the home menu, and click on "random products". This shows random products perfectly on the homepage.

The problem comes, that I have a banner on a position above the body. It shows good in the homepage too, but there should be the only place where it should show. But then, the banner shows up on some products.

When contacting my template company, they tell me that this has to do with hikashop, since the products are on the homepage.

For those having the same problem, the problem comes from the canonical URLs. The canonical URL is saved the first time you enter the page, so if you enter home before entering the product page, the canonical page won't be saved correctly. To fix this, delete the canonical adress on the product, and enter the webpage directly to the product so it gets saved.
