Hi,
I would like to allow customers to select a number of items from a category and only pay 1 fixed price for them all,

e.g.
select 5 of 20 items for £10.
I need to allow images and descriptions for all of the items.

is it possible to achieve this at the checkout or can you help me find thebest way to do it?

thanks

Hi,

We'll need more information to be able to provide a solution.
What are the prices of the products in that category ? All the same ?
Is it 2£ ?
What happens if the customer purchase 6 items of that category ? You don't want to allow that ?
Or you want £10 + a specific price ?

Hi Nicolas,
sorry for the delay in replying,
example 1:
in this case the items are only different flavours and brands, all prices at £4.99,
I have it so that customers can currently buy 3 of the same flavour for £11.97,
I cant find how to allow them to buy 3 different flavours for a fixed price.

Example 2:
if I sold ballons - rubbers - hats - bubbles - whistles - bouncy balls - pens -
the customers could have a "party bag" selection of any 5 items for £10 but the items would not be for sale separately.

are these different methods?
thanks

Hi,

1. Then, you could use a coupon for that. Restrict it to a category containing these products, and turn on its "automatically load in the cart if possible" setting so that the coupon will be loaded if all the conditions you set in the coupon are met and set its "minimum number of rpoducts" to 3 so that the coupon will only apprea on the checkout if the customer has only three products of that category in the cart.

2. You can have a specific product with 5 options and configure in each option the list of potential elements as variants of the options product and you could put these option products in an unpublished category so that they don't normally display on your products listings.

Hi nicolas,

I've set a coupon with a minimum number of products, but I need to set a fixed price for the 3 products,
I'm not getting it working properly,

also, I don't want people to be able to add more than 3 for that deal, (e.g. 4 or 5 + products).

sorry Im not understanding it, can you help ?

Hi,

The coupon system of HikaShop only handle a minimum quantity, not a maximum quantity.
And you can't set a fixed price but only a discount amount which would be applied to the total amount.

If you need something more advanced, I would recommend to look at AWo Coupon:
awodev.com/products
It's compatible with HikaShop and has more more advanced features regarding discounts/coupons.
