Thumbnail slider for product page won't turn off after latest update.

-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Chevrons won't disappear when switching off thumbnail for product page

Hi Everybody,
Can't turn of the chevrons on multiple images on the product page after latest update, also magic zoom is no longer working.

Hi,

Are you talking about the arrows to switch from one image to the other ?
That's something we've added with the latest version. Before, there were no arrows.
And to display them, you need to turn on the "Thumbnails slider for product page" setting in the HikaShop configuration.
So turn that setting back off and you won't see them.
Regarding Magix Zoom, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work.
Since we changed some things in the show_block_img.php view file, maybe Magic Zoom needs to adapt a bit their integration with HikaShop. You'll have to contact their support so that they can check on the situation and tell you what to do.

Yes, those are the arrows, I have tried switching them off in the options "Thumbnails slider for product page", but it's not switching off... Yes I guess I need to speak to Magiczoom about that issue then.
Any ideas about the Chevrons/arrows?

Hello,

There are something you can try, because it seems that you use a custom version of hikashop frontend file css.
I suggest you to process a WinMerge to see differences between your current frontend file css and the last from the new HikaShop.

And especially around line 840 of the new Frontend file Css :

If you ever think you want to be able to fully use this new feature, I would recommend that you be careful to add all the css lines relating to this feature.

Hello again,

Don´t know if it´s exactly the same issue, but I think there is a relation :)

After last Update, there have changed the upper arrows to go from a product to another (next /prev)
now they are bigger , I´ve switched them off, and no problem now :)

But te chevrons around the small images of product, I can´t switch them off, I´ve marked the" thumbnail off "
but still apear, and make a little mess with the big and small images, now not aligned and overlaped

Can I do something more?

Hi luisolla,
This was the same for me also overlapped thumbnails, I changed my frontend custom CSS to add a margin of 15px to get rid of the overlap.

thanks a lot Ian, it could be a fix :)

If we could only turn the chevrons off would be better for us.

We did a lot of things to find the perfect combination of margins, padding, borders and spaces to fit all the screens :)
(don´t want to chage that settings)

Hello,

The most simple is to have an Url link to see by ourselves the issue, but we are quite confident that this command will help you to switch off this prev/next :

.hikashop_slide_prev, 
.hikashop_slide_next, 
a.hikashop_slide_prev_active, 
a.hikashop_slide_next_active {
    display: none;
}

Have a look on this tutorial to see how to add this command to your frontend file css.
