Not able to send payment directly to vendor paypal

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.3

Hi,

I set the configuration to send the payment directly to the vendor's paypal.
However, the paypal page directed to when checking out is still my paypal.
I am using HikaMarket

Hi,

HikaShop 3.2.3 does not exist.
Please provide your HikaMarket version number.
Please provide a screenshot of your paypal plugin configuration (and specify which paypal plugin you're using exactly).
Please provide some screenshot of your HikaMarket configuration (market tab).

Hi,

You using the plugin "paypal" and not the plugin "paypal adaptive" ; which means that the money will always be send to your store paypal account and it is not possible that your vendors are paid directly.
It means that between your HikaShop configuration and your HikaMarket configuration, they are in opposite and it won't work.

The best solution will be to use the "paypal adaptive" plugin in classical mode.

Thanks for the advise.
I would just like to clarify one point. After I activate the paypal adaptive,
will the customer pay directly to the vendor's paypal?
Or will the customer pay to my paypal after which it the money will be routed to the vendor

Please advise

Hi,

If you're using the plugin "paypal adaptive" in "classical mode", the custom will pay directly the vendor if the vendor have a valid paypal email configured.
If you are using the plugin "paypal adaptive" in "adaptive mode", the customer will pay you and the vendor in the same time ; but it requires a special "paypal application" account in order to use this special mode.

Otherwise, you can still use the HikaShop "paypal" plugin but you have to change your HikaMarket configuration in order to specify that the "market mode" is "store paid directly" because it will be the case.

Thank you for the advise and explaination. It works properly now.
1 more question though. say if a customer buys items from 2 different vendors, how will HikaMarket handle the payment if the payment is made to the vendor directly? will the customer have to make payment twice?

Hi,

It is not possible to pay several vendors in the same time except with paypal adaptive.

If you got 2 vendors in the cart then HikaMarket will set you as the "target" of the payment.
Because it won't be possible to determine which vendor should be paid, the store is always selected.
That's why the option "Show only vendor payments" works find the option "Limit vendors in cart", as explained in our documentation:
