Gift certificate and attach serial plugin: some questions

Hello,
I am reading your documentation trying to understand how to create gift certificates.
But before moving on I'd like to undertand this:

-how to connect a gift certificate to a certain product?
I am not sure to understand where to put these variables:

- is it possible to add in the coupon also some custom text for thespecific product the coupon si attached to?

- is it possible for the user to directly send the gift certificate to someone else during the order? (guess not, but I have to ask)

3 - Yes, you have to use the plugin "mail to custom field" and use an HikaShop "order/item custom field" to let the customer enter the email address.

Looking into this right now.
What I don't understand is how I create this custom field and attach it to a certain product (gift card).
In the single product config interface under "custom fields" I just see a setting "user group after".
I don't think I have to operate in the main "custom fields" interface (/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=field) as that would make the field visible for all orders, isn't it?

I didn't realize you had to choose "entry" and then save the field before those restirctions options wold become available.
