-- HikaShop version -- : 4.4.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.28
-- PHP version -- : 7.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : All
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Square Payment Plugin. How do we position the credit card details entry form within a different template position?

We are using the Square Payment Plugin we purchased.

Feedback - At first the Square Payment Plugin wouldn't test in the square sandbox. Turns out the plugin had been improved but the version not changed from 1.0.0 so users like us were unaware. It would be nice if when the version is updated users are informed of the update. May I suggest the developer show the versioning on the extensions promotion page for this plugin. All good though, as we now have it working using the updated plugin.

Current problem - We can't find documentation on how to control the positioning of the Square Plugin "credit card entry form" when you complete the transaction. The CC entry form appears above the left side elements in the template and appears to take the whole width of the area it occupies. We need to have that appear in a particular template position so other elements correctly form around it. We’re not sure how to do this. How do we do this? -

Request - The Square Payment Form method of taking credit cards is being deprecated from the 15th July 2022 next year and will no longer work after that (as we understand it from Square). Square are requesting developers upgrade to the Web Payments SDK. Are the Hikashop team or the developer TsukiDev intending to upgrade the plugin?

Thanks in advance, and thanks to the developer for fixing the sandbox issue. :)

Hello,

About your current problem, the display maybe some css can probably help you to adjust the display ?
But in order to be sure can you provide these elements ?
- An Url link (and required elements & step by step in order to reach your context)
- Annotated screenshot in order to illustrate your display goal to reach (and allow us to guide you)

Note : Learn here how to add in your frontend file css some custom css command, here .

Awaiting your returns to progress on your subject.
Regards

I agree that the check out page is less than desirable and wonder what type of css would make this better? It just doesn't look very trustworthy.

Also mainly wanted to reply to follow for this?

Hello,

I agree that the check out page is less than desirable and wonder what type of css would make this better? It just doesn't look very trustworthy.

Well it will actually depends on how you want your credit card form to look, but note that to customize that page you can :
- Use CSS code
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...the-display.html#css
- Use both of these translation keys to add texts or images before / after the credit card form SQUARE_FORM_START / SQUARE_FORM_END
www.hikashop.com/download/languages#translate
- Customize the code of the file "\plugins\hikashoppayment\square\square_end.php"

Of course, if the API used by the Hikashop Square payment plugin is deprecated and is no longer supported, we'll updated it before the 15th July 2022.

Kind regards,
Mohamed.
