J'ai décidé de suivre vos conseils et j'ai désinstallé les plugins Hikashop Captcha.
Je viens d'installer Ospam et les inscriptions sont à nouveau possible sans soucis.
J'observerai dans les jours à venir s'il n'y a plus d'inscriptions Bot.

1. Le plugin "HikaShop Joomla Captcha" permet d'ajouter un plugin de captcha de Joomla aux formulaires d'enregistrement. Mais pour qu'il fasse cela, il faut déjà avoir configuré un plugin de captcha dans Joomla ( forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=1005138 ). Si vous activez le plugin alors que vous n'avez pas de plugin de captcha dans Joomla, il ne fera rien.

2. Le fait que le plugin ReCaptcha bloque l'enregistrement indique que le plugin est bien activé. Si vous n'avez pas d'affichage, c'est qu'il y a un problème au niveau du javascript qui empêche le système captcha d'être initialisé sur la page. Dans ce cas, vous devriez avoir une erreur JS dans la console de votre navigateur qui permettrait de comprendre le problème et de le résoudre.

3. Personnellement, je vous recommande de ne plus utiliser de captcha et d'utiliser à la place OSpam-a-not:
extensions.joomla.org/extension/ospam-a-not/
C'est ce que nous utilisons et cela fonctionne mieux que ReCaptcha et il y a moins de possibilité pour qu'il y ait un problème avec dans le futur.

Je reviens pour solliciter votre aide pour un problème qui me dépasse.
Il y a trois jours un prospect m'a indiqué qu'il ne pouvait pas créer de compte sur mon site car on lui demandait de valider une méthode "captcha".
Habituellement, il y a une case en gris claire "je ne suis pas un robot" à cocher qui apparait, permettant ainsi d'éviter les inscriptions fantômes de bots.
Seulement, cette case n'apparait plus. J'ai donc désinstallé le plugin et je l'ai réinstallé ( www.hikashop.com/marketplace/product/223...-with-recaptcha.html ). Le problème persiste.

J'ai ensuite fouiné sur le forum en désespoir de cause et j'ai découvert que vous aviez un nouveau plugin "HikaShop Joomla Captcha". J'ai donc installé ce dernier (après avoir désactivé recaptcha v2) et là encore rien n'apparait. Pas de case à cocher. La seule différence est que les nouvelles inscriptions sont à nouveau possible, les robots inclus.

Auriez-vous une idée de ce qu'il se trame et comment y remédier?

PS : j'ai vu les discussions au sujet de Mootools mais l'anomalie concernait J3 et je suis en version J4.4.3 donc je n'ai rien fait dans ce sens

NB : j'ai récemment installé un plugin de Live chat "crisp", la dernière mise à jour Joomla a été faite fin février 2024 de 4.4.2 vers 4.4.3

Is it possible to add a better anti spam option to the registration form of HikaShop? In the last weeks I receive a lot of fake registrations. I use Google reCAPTCHA but that doesn't help enough. The spammers are also activating their fake account via the link in the confirmation e-mail.

For my contact form (and contact forms for others) I use Convert Forms, developed by Tassos Marinos. Since I use these forms, I never received spam anymore via the contact forms. Even when I don't use reCAPTCHA.
They use a honeypot (not 100% sure), a hidden field that will be used by robots, but not by humans. As soon as the hidden field is used, the registration fails. Maybe an idea to let it look like a successful registration, but without any registration at all.

Hope that it is possible to add such an option.
Other suggestions to prevent spam are welcome of course.

I use the option for registration before ordering anything to create custom orders for new customers.

The error message indicates that the key you've configured in the settings of the plugin is incorrect. So I would recommend verifying it in your ReCaptcha account and use the correct type of key (v2) linked to the correct URL of the website when configuring the plugin :

Also, with the advances in AI in the past few years, ReCaptcha and other captcha solutions are less and less useful to prevent spam.
I would recommend switching to OSpam-a-not: extensions.joomla.org/extension/ospam-a-not/
It is easier for the user as they don't have to do anything, and spam bots have a harder time circumventing it due to the way it works.

I'd like to use reCaptcha on the registration form during checkout, but the built in form doesn't show the system default captcha.

In order to do that, you need to use this plugin which links the Joomla captcha system and HikaShop's registration:

I have the Hikashop registration redirect in place but it does not change the form to the menu item specified in the redirect plugin.

The goal of this plugin is to redirect the user to HikaShop's registration form when the Joomla registration form is accesses. So in its settings you're supposed to enter the id of a HikaShop menu item.
I think you think it doesn't work because you expect it to do something else than this.

If you have the "login" view in your checkout workflow and you don't have the "guest" checkbox checked in the "registration" setting, then being logged in will be required to finish the checkout.

I assume the login override is designed to be used to create a link to any third party login form. I use RSForms with Registration plugin.

Yes, the "Override registration" setting can be used to provide HTML (with the "content" setting below) to replace the registration form. So usually you want to add in there the HTML of a link to your custom registration form.

This error indicates that you have an old version of the ReCaptcha plugin, which isn't compatible with Joomla 5. Download the latest version on our website and install it on yours and you won't get the error anymore:

j'ai ce soucis sur plusieurs sites internet (ancien joomla et ancien hikashop)
avant il fonctionnait bien
avez vous une idée du problème

Hi,

Mootools is automatically loaded by Joomla 3 on every page.
In order to not have Mootools on your pages, you need to install a plugin called "Mootools Enabler/Disabler", as explained on the other thread.

The HikaShop ReCaptcha v2 plugin does not work properly, when you click the checkbox, the icon loads forever.

Yes you are correct, there is a console error with Mootools enabled:

I have switched off captcha and installed Ospam-a-not and as I will be updating the site to J4 shortly I will leave MooTools enabled.

Hi,

The Advanced Date Picker doesn't rely on Mootools.
However, if you have a javascript error on the page, it's possible that the Advanced Date Picker javascript code necessary to initialize it won't be run by the browser.
So I would recommend checking the console of your browser for a potential javascript error.
It's likely that the removal of Mootools on your page affected another extension which relied on it, leading to a javascript error, which in turn prevented the Advanced Date Picker from working.
So it's likely there is nothing we can do from our end.

I noticed that disabling Mootools also affects the Advanced Date Picker in that the calendar no longer appears when clicking the button. (I have bootstrap v2 enabled)
